Explosion containment vessels
JAKUSZ Company offers a range of vessels designed for safe transport and temporary storage of hazardous items containing explosives, chemical or biological agents.
In case of detonation the vessels protect human life, infrastructure and natural environment against the effects of explosion.
The vessels manufactured by JAKUSZ may be installed on specialized vehicles, trailers, transport platforms or may be equipped with its own chassis.
Anka container is designed for safe transport of explosives and initiators as well as other materials with explosive properties up to 20 g of TNT equivalent. The container can be also used for temporary storing of laboratory samples or judicial deposits. Construction of the container guarantees its gastightness for 24 h and enables taking samples of post-detonation gases.
Portable, gastight explosion containment vessel ALA is used for safe transport and temporary storage of hazardous items containing explosives, chemical or biological agents. The vessels construction protects against the explosion effects such as shock wave, overpressure, acoustic wave, fragments, flames, toxic gases.

Gastight explosion containment vessel AGATA (NSN 1385-43-0006644) ensures protection against shock wave and fragments in case of explosion of load up to 500 g TNT equivalent. The vessel is equipped in valves and sampling installation for post detonation gases. AGATA can be mounted on the trailer or on the special platform enabling easy handling.

Explosion containment vessel ADA is designed for fast and safe isolation of susspected luggage. The vessel can be steered remotely from the safe distance and its construction is adjusted to operate with airport security checkpoints. ADA is available with integrated chassis or on the trailer adjusted to be towed on public roads.

Ventilated containment vessel VERA is designed for safe transport/isolation of hazardous items (up to 5 kg TNT equivalent) to designated location of its neutralization. Remote steering (wire or wireless) with all functions of the vessel is connected to automation system. The vessel can be installed on integrated chassis (4 wheels and integrated frame) or on two-axle, low floor trailer, equipped with a towing hitch with the possibility of moving on public roads.

Gastigh explosion containment vessel protects people and surrounding infrastructure from the effects of explosion and toxic substances which may be placed in luggage, packagings or other hazardous items. It allows multiple, safe transport of suspected items beyond the occupied zone and, in case of explosion, post detonation gases sampling.

Gastight explosion containment vessel EVA installed on the trailer (or chassis equipped with its own drive) is resistant for multiple detonations of explosive materials up to 8 kg in TNT equivalent.
Automation system of opening/closing is minimizing the risk for operators. Remotely lifted platform (steered with cable or wireless) allows easy access for operators or robots to the loading shelf.
The vessel is equipped with decontamination unit which allows to keep toxic gases inside the vessels and its further neutralization.

EOD vehicle IRYS allows multiple safe transport of suspected items beyond area of people presence. The vehicle may be used by public security formations (police, antiterrorists units, airport security) as well as for military applications. IRYS can be equipped with different types of JAKUSZ explosion containment vessels, adjusted to individual User requirements (including gastight constructions and vessels resistant against heavy fragments, adopted for UXO and misfires transport). The vehicle is built on OBERAIGNER 6x6 chassis with excellent traction and off-road capabilities.
Explosion containment vessel WIKTORIA installed on the two-axle trailer is used for safe transport of UXO, misfired ammunition (including 152 mm projectile) and other explosives up to 10 kg of TNT equivalent.
The vessel provides effective protection for people and environment from heavy fragments and blast wave in case of detonation of the transported item.
WIKTORIA can be also used at airports, ferry terminals and mail sorting centers for fast and safe isolation of suspected items and luggage which may contain explosives.

EOD vehicle ATENA is capable to transport hazardous items up to 10 kgs of TNT equivalent. Internal shelf has capcity of 100 kg. The vessel is resistant to 53-OF-540 caliber 152 mm projectile fragmentation.
Special equipment may include EOD tools (hand and mechanical saws, shovels), portable lighting masts, EOD robots, heavy EOD suits.
The vessel installed on the vehicle provides effective protection for people and environment from fragments and blast wave in case of incidental detonation of transported UXO or other hazardous items.
Ventilated explosion containmnt vessel resistant to explosion of 10 kg TNT equivalent instaled on IVECO Eurocargo ML150E28 chassis.
Ventilated explosion containment container STOLEM is designed for safe transport and storage of ammunition, explosives and plastic explosives materials, initiators, UXO and misfires. In single box can be transported items with explosive materials (which can create heavy fragments in case of explosion) up to 8 kg of TNT equivalent. Items which does not create heavy fragments can be transported in quantity up to 10 kg TNT in single box. Total gross weight of transported items inside the container depends on type of mnitions and its dimensions.
STOLEM construction allows its transport on public roads and is adjusted for typical trailers and chassis’.
